When you start your journey with Haiilo, you'll specify the subdomain you wish to use for your platform during one of your calls with our team. Our team will then create a personalized URL for your platform based on your selection. This URL will be your entry point to your personal space in Haiilo.
After you get your custom platform URL, your platform will be in setup mode. You'll need to make some choices about how it is configured. Let's go through the setup steps to help you make the most of your new platform!

Define a Network Name Enter a name for your platform. This name appears in the browser's title bar and in system emails, for example. Learn more in Understanding the "Network Name". We suggest selecting a name that reflects your organization's brand and culture. |

Add a Super Admin Add the details for your first user, a super admin who can manage all aspects of the platform. Please use an email address that you can access so you can continue the setup. This email address will serve as your login name. You will be able to add more users once the setup is complete and you access the platform. |

Start Blank or Use Demo Data Decide whether to start with a blank platform or demo data. We recommend starting with a blank platform when you're ready to start setting up your own intranet. If you would prefer to view example pages, communities, users, apps, and simulated interactions to explore a ready-made platform, you can start by viewing your platform with demo data. This can be useful if you need to demonstrate to management what the platform might look like when it is in use or to show the project team what they will be working on in the coming weeks or months. If you choose demo data, our team can reset your platform whenever you're ready to start building your own intranet, returning it to setup mode so you can start over with a blank slate. Finish Once you have made your final decision, select Finish Setup to create your platform. |
