Features

These are the features related to Multichannel content:

  • The Studio: All multichannel posts are created, planned, published, edited, and analyzed in Haiilo's Studio. If you have permission to access it, you can find the starting point for the Studio in the navigation bar. The Studio is only available in the browser version of your platform, not in the mobile app.
  • Setting up communication channels: Your selected channels decide where you can distribute content to your employees. You have to enable each channel in the Administration. Learn more in this article:
  • Creating posts: All posts are created in the Studio editor. You can use Haiilo AVA to help with content creation if it's been enabled and provide your posts in multiple languages. Learn more in these articles:
  • Reviewing and publishing posts: You might need to request approval for your posts before they can be published, depending on your permissions. Only those with publishing permission can publish posts without needing approval. Approvers can review posts in the editor. Learn more in these articles:
  • Managing posts: After a post has been published, a creator can edit or unpublish the post. This allows you to make changes later or unpublish posts that are outdated. The actions you can take depend on your permissions. Learn more in these articles:
  • Planning content in the Calendar: All posts from your platform are shown in a calendar or list view, so you can easily plan your communication. You can drag and drop drafts into the calendar to publish them. Learn more in this article:
  • Viewing analytics: The analytics for all published posts from your platform are included here so you can understand the posts' reach and engagement. Learn more in this article:
  • Interacting with posts: Users can interact with posts on the communication channels they've received them on, including on the timeline of your platform. Learn more in these articles:
  • Receiving notifications for the Studio: You receive notifications when someone has selected you as an approver for their post. After you approve or reject a post, the post creator is notified of your decision. Additionally, you will automatically be subscribed to Studio posts when you comment on them, or you can manually subscribe for updates. Learn more in these articles:

Permissions

These are the permissions related to the Studio:

  • Studio:
    • "Access Studio": Allows users to access and view the Studio and all its tabs.
  • Multichannel Posts:
    • "Multichannel administration": Allows users to manage the communication channels settings in the Administration.
    • "Create, edit and delete posts": Allows users to create and edit their own Multichannel posts.
    • "Publish posts": Allows users to approve, reject, publish, and unpublish Multichannel posts. A user without these permissions requires approval for their posts to be published. Alternatively, if a post's audience has been set to be one specific Page/Target Audience, an Admin of that Page/Target Audience can be selected as an approver despite not having publishing permissions, as long as they also have the post creator permissions.
    • "Target any audience": Allows users to select Everyone, individual users, and user groups as the audience of their Multichannel post. If this isn't enabled, users can only select Target Audiences/Pages as an audience for their posts.
