Blog app overview

The Blog app is your communication tool when publishing editorial content using different layout options, widget combinations, teaser text, or teaser images. You can publish articles pre-dated or back-dated, and even a release process is possible.

Features

These are the features of the blog app:

  • Setting up a Blog app: You have to set up a Blog app to use it. You need to be an admin of the page or community and have "Manage apps of a page/community" permission to configure the app. Learn more in this article:
  • Creating blog articles: You can draft and publish new articles, adapting the article layout to best suit the knowledge you're sharing to ensure it's accessible. Learn more in this article:
  • Editing or duplicating blog articles: You can edit existing articles or duplicate them for related topics, allowing for easy maintenance. Learn more in this article:
  • Archiving blog articles: You can archive outdated or less relevant articles, keeping them accessible without cluttering the main content areas. Archived articles retain analytics. Learn more in this article:
  • Deleting blog articles: You can permanently remove blog articles that are no longer accurate or relevant. Deleted articles don't retain analytics. Learn more in this article:
  • Printing or saving PDFs of blog articles: You can print articles or save them to your computer as PDFs for offline access.
