Post authors or collaborators can schedule or instantly send read-confirmation reminders for a multichannel post, allowing you to re-nudge users in the post's target audience who haven't yet confirmed they've read the post.
Reminders can be scheduled when creating the post or later by opening a published post in the editor. You can send multiple reminders for each post or set up recurring reminders.
When sent, a read confirmation reminder includes a standard message, such as "You missed some news, please confirm that you have read it," followed by the teaser title and a link to the original post.
Schedule a reminder
- When in the Studio editor, scroll down to the Settings box in the right-hand sidebar and check Request read confirmation to enable read confirmation for the post.
- Select Schedule reminder. A new read confirmation reminder pop-up appears.
- Define a name for your reminder, e.g., Reminder 1.
- Choose a date and time for it to be sent.
- Optionally, if you want the reminder to repeat, select Repeat. This lets you choose which days the reminder should repeat and set an end date for your reminders.
- Choose the channels to which the reminder(s) will be sent. The channels you can choose from depend on what's activated for your platform. You can send a reminder on any activated channel, even if you didn't originally publish the post to that channel.
- Selecting Notification as a channel sends a notification to the platform's notification bell, in both the browser and mobile app.
- Select Save to set up your reminder.
After creating your reminder, you can edit or delete it, or choose Schedule reminder again to set up a new one. Once a reminder is created, you can no longer make it repeat; please create a new reminder instead.
