You can request to change your platform's subdomain, e.g., subdomain.haiilo.app, by contacting our Support team. If you have a white-label mobile app, please let us know so we can adjust it as well.
Changing the subdomain will affect all existing links to and within your platform. Links to the old subdomain won't work after the change. The best example is that all the links posted on the timeline will lead nowhere after a subdomain change. As a result, we advise against changing the subdomain as it has unpleasant side effects for your users.
- Bookmarks saved in the browser won't work anymore.
- Browser cache must be completely cleared.
- Existing links within Haiilo aren't changed and won't work anymore.
- All widgets that work with permanent URLs need to be customized (e.g., Downloads, Link collection widgets).
- Launchpad links need to be updated.
- If you have a white-label mobile app, it must be adapted to a new version.
