Revealing the original author of content published on behalf

When content is published in the name of a page, community, or another user, it may sometimes be necessary to reveal the original author or Content Creator. The ability to reveal the author's identity depends on where and by whom the content was published. Additionally, users in moderator mode can also reveal the author's name.

Reveal the author of timeline posts

You can reveal the author of a timeline post if you're an admin of the page or community where the post was published from or to, or if you are the post's Content Creator or Content Publisher.

  1. Find the timeline post.
  2. Select    > Reveal author.

Reveal the author of blog articles

You can reveal the author of a blog article if you're an admin of the page or community where the Blog app is located, or if you are the article's Content Creator or Content Publisher.

  1. Find the blog article in the Blog app.
  2. Select    > Reveal author.

Reveal the author of multichannel posts or email newsletters

You can view the original author of multichannel posts and email newsletters if you have access to the Studio. Simply locate and open the mini preview in the Studio calendar. The author's name will appear as "Written by XX."

Reveal the author of shares

You can reveal the author of shares if you're an admin of the page or community where the content was shared from or to, or if you are the Content Creator or Content Publisher of the share.

  1. Find the share on the timeline.
  2. Select X Shares to view all shares of the content.
  3. Find your share in the list of shares.
  4. Select    > Reveal author.
