Providing blog articles in multiple languages

You can create your blog articles in multiple languages, enabling users to access content in a language they understand. This enhances accessibility and promotes greater inclusivity within your organization. When an article is available in multiple languages, it will automatically display to users in their preferred language based on their account settings.

Your platform needs to have activated multi-language for you to create your articles in multiple languages. Additionally, you need to enable multi-language for your page or community and its apps.

Provide a blog article in another language

When creating a blog article, it's first created in your page or community's default language. To add more languages, follow these steps:

  1. Edit an existing blog article or start a new one.
  2. In the upper right corner, select the default language to open the language selector.
  3. Select another language in which you want to provide the article.
    • The available languages depend on those activated for your page or community.
  4. When you add a new language version for the first time, you are asked if you would like to copy the information from the default language to the new language. This makes it easier to remember the information in the default language for quick translation. Choose Yes or No.
  5. Write your content in the new language. Any changes you make to the article's content and structure will only apply to the new language version of the article.
  6. Repeat for every language you want to provide the article in.
  7. Publish your article.

Each language version of the article is displayed separately, so you can navigate between your versions using the language selector.
