In the analytics dashboard, you can utilize a date range filter and user profile filters. The date range filter enables you to examine changes over different intervals, while the user profile filters allow you to focus on the engagement and content performance of specific user segments.
Date range filter
On the different analytics pages, the date range filter shows activity or content created during the selected time period. The filter includes predefined options, and you cannot set custom values:
- Last 7 days (Default)
- Last 28 days
- A specific week
- A specific month
- A specific year
- A specific quarter within a specific year
Additionally, you can choose to group your data by days, weeks, months, or quarters based on your selected date range. This means that if you want to analyze data from the past year, you can aggregate by month to see 12 data points in the charts, helping you compare different months within the year.
User profile filters
On the different analytics pages, the user profile filters focus on activity or content created by the users in the filtered groups.
At present, there are filters for Company, Department, and Location. The information in these filters is derived from users' profile details for the relevant fields. Users who have not provided information in these fields will not be included in the associated filter group. In the filter lists, the number in parentheses indicates how many users are included in each filter group.
You can choose one or multiple filters. Filters from different fields (Company, Department, Location) are combined with an AND operator. Within the same filter field, multiple selected values are combined with an OR operator. In our example filters, filtering by "Fruit Company" and "Sales" uses AND because they are in different filter fields, while filtering by "Fruit Company" or "Banana GmbH" uses OR because they are in the same filter field.
Groups with fewer than 5 users are not offered as filters to protect user anonymity.
