Anyone accessing the page or community can respond to an open thread. All participants in the thread, including the creator and subscribers, receive a notification when a new reply is posted.

To subscribe to a thread to be notified of future replies without leaving a reply yourself, select  when viewing the thread.

At the moment, it's not possible to share or react to forum replies.

Reply to a thread

1. Select a thread to open it
2. Add your reply in the Type a reply field. You can also mention a user by selecting the @ symbol or typing an @ sign. The user you mention will be notified of your mention.
3. Optionally, add formatting, lists, media, or files to your reply. Learn more in Using the rich text editor
4. Select Send reply to submit it

You can view up to 10 thread replies per page, with the option to navigate to other pages for more replies. If the user who created the thread replies to it, a Thread author label will be displayed next to their name.

Edit a thread reply

You can edit your reply as long as no new replies are beneath it to maintain the thread's integrity.

1. Select a thread to open it
2. On a reply, select  > Edit
3. Edit your text
4. Select Save

An edited reply displays an Edited label to signal the information has been changed.

Delete a thread reply

You can delete your own thread replies. Page and community admins can delete other users' replies.

1. Select a thread to open it
2. On a reply, select  > Delete
3. Select Delete

Once a reply is deleted, all information is removed from it, but a message saying "This answer has been deleted" is shown for transparency.
