Adding widgets

Widgets can be added to homepages, pages, communities, events, content apps, and more. To add widgets, you need to at least be an editor or admin of the element to which the widget is added. Widgets are added using the widget catalog.

When adding widgets to homepages and apps, their placement and width are determined by the rows and columns you select.

  • Rows: A row is an element that covers the width of the element. There are 9 row options to choose from. The row you select determines the number of columns and their widths.
  • Columns: Every row has columns. Each row option has between 1 and 4 columns. The column width determines the size of widgets on your element.
  • Widgets: Into each column, you place widgets that contain content that users will see and interact with.
