In addition to a self-selected domain, you can also freely define the e-mail address of your system. You can utilize a custom email address for your Haiilo without using a self-selected domain.

For the custom email address, you need the following:

1. You are hosted in the Haiilo Cloud
2. You have the "Custom Domain" add-on
3. You are the owner of the desired email domain

With these requirements in place and the permission status of a superadmin, you can set your custom email address within the administration (Administration >General Settings >Domain).

The email address must be a valid and public domain (at least an "A record", better an "MX record" accessible). It also needs a specific "SPF record".
