You can access the search in the mobile app by selecting the icon at the top of the dashboard or timeline. You need the "Search" permission to use the search.
When you open the search, your recently viewed pages, communities, profiles, or events from search results, along with your three most recent searches, will appear first, making it easy to revisit them.
Search in the mobile app
You can start a new search by typing a keyword into the search bar. You can also use search operators in your search in the mobile app.
When you search on the mobile app, you'll get relevant content based on your search term. For each content type, the overview shows up to three search results. These are the content types that appear in mobile search, listed in this order:
- Pages
- Communities
- Events
- Timeline posts (including Multichannel posts)
- Blog articles
- Wiki articles
- Files
- Colleagues
To see all the results of a particular content type, you can select that content type under the search field or select Show all in the search results list.
