Advanced authentication settings allow you to customize the login experience for your platform. You can use these settings to simplify login for SSO-only environments, reduce user confusion, and control automatic redirection behaviour.
Configure advanced authentication settings
- Go to Administration > Authentication > Advanced.
- Configure the available settings as needed:
- Hide Login Form: Removes the local login, meaning the username and password fields, from the login page. Use this option when you want users to only be able to authenticate through a configured authentication provider (SSO).
- Auto Login Timeout: Controls how long users remain on the login page before they are automatically redirected to an authentication provider you've enabled Automatic login for during provider setup. Enter a time in seconds or milliseconds; entering 0 will redirect users immediately, or leave the field blank to disable redirection.
- Password Reset: Hides the Forgot password? link on the login page. Selecting Off means the link is hidden. Use this option when passwords are managed by an external identity provider rather than in Haiilo.
- Select Save to apply your changes.
After saving, the updated login experience is applied immediately to users accessing the platform.
