The new Rich Text Editor (RTE) widget lets you create and edit content in a more modern and consistent way, directly within your existing workflows. The new editor brings a similar editing experience from the Studio to the Intranet, creating a more consistent way to work across both. The new RTE is available on both the browser and mobile versions of your platform.

If enabled for your platform, you can use AVA, Haiilo's AI Writing Assistant, directly in the new editor to draft, improve, and refine content without leaving the page. 

The new widget is introduced alongside the existing rich text editor, so you can adopt it gradually. The new RTE widget will not be used by default in any location yet, but you can add it wherever you can add widgets and try it out! 

Set up the widget

When added, the new RTE widget has no configuration settings; it simply adds a text box with various options for formatting text and adding additional elements.
