The language of the platform and content is determined by a user's language preferences. Admins set a default language in the Administration, which is applied to all new users. This language remains effective until the user decides to change their account settings.
If your platform will have users from different parts of the world, it's best to make English the default language. This ensures that every user can understand what they see and read when they first join the platform. Users can always change the language to their preferred local language in the settings.
You can find the settings for the default language in Administration > System settings > Registration/Account. The languages available for selection are determined by the languages you have added.
Any changes to the default language will only affect new users created after the change. If a user changes the language in their account settings, it overrides the default language.
