Haiilo makes a text-based intranet a thing of the past. With Haiilo, you can design however you wish, upload media of all kinds, and give your users easier access to content.
Studies have shown that text with images is stored better in our memory. People perceive images 60,000 times more quickly than text. In addition, text and articles with carefully selected images attract more attention. We thus advise that you always embellish your own texts with images. When they first scroll the timeline, your users can then tell more quickly whether a post is interesting to them if the text has meaningful images.
What types of media are supported by Haiilo?
When rendering videos, you should ensure that you use a default setting that explicitly supports web content. This allows you to present your content in the best possible way. Have you noticed that your content is displayed incorrectly or in different ways on different platforms and/or browsers? This indicates that the codec used when rendering the video or the audio file cannot be processed correctly by the respective browser or operating system. You can find out more about this in the article "File preview in Haiilo".
What sizes or resolutions are recommended?
We have created a separate article for images – take a look here.
Are there requirements concerning naming/nomenclature?
You require a file that has a stored format when uploading. Be sure to avoid manually changing the file endings (e.g. from .png to .jpg), as important elements can be impaired by doing this.
