App notifications

Haiilo provides the ability to send notifications to members of a community or subscribers of a page when content is updated in certain apps. The decision about who gets notified is made by the admin of the community/site within the app settings.

Settings

The settings are customized in the respective app. Once you hover over the app with the mouse, a context menu appears via which you can access the settings.

Apps with extra options

The following apps offer extra options for notifications:

Documents app

Notification of new documents for members/subscribers, admins or no one via the notification bell.

List app

Notification of new entries for members/subscribers, admins or nobody via the notification bell.

Form app

Notification of form submissions for admins or nobody; additionally, admins can determine whether confirmations should be sent via e-mail (admins or nobody) via the notification bell.

Apps without extra options

The following apps do not offer extra options for notifications:

Blog app

Notification of a newly published post for all members/subscribers (set by default and cannot be changed); depending on the app setting, either via the notification bell or additionally via the timeline on the homepage.

Wiki app

Notification of a newly published wiki article for all members/followers (set by default and cannot be changed) via the notification bell.

Timeline app

Nothing can be set here, as different triggers come into effect. This is dependent on the subscription settings for the page or community or the mentioning (@) of users. New messages appear in the timeline.

Forum app

Notification of a newly published forum post for all members/subscribers (set by default and cannot be changed) via the notification bell.

Task app

Notification of a new task if it has been assigned to a user and the task is due (set by default and cannot be changed) via the notification bell.

Content app

Due to the flexible format, no notifications are possible.
