How can I create accounts for users who don't have email addresses?

You can create Haiilo user accounts for people who don't have an email address by adding them through CSV import. The Email field in CSV import is optional, so you can simply leave it empty when creating these users. Learn how it works in detail in the User directory: CSV import article.

How will users without an email log in?

They log in with their unique identifier (login name) and password—an email address is not required for authentication.

How do these users receive a password?

Users without email must receive their password in one of these ways:

  • Initial password set in the CSV, or
  • Admin‑set password after the import.

Either way, the password must be shared with the user manually. Once the user logs in, they are prompted to change their password.
