App analytics help you identify which content resonates most with your users. By seeing which apps are most popular, you can optimize the structure and content of your Pages and Communities.
You can access app analytics from Analytics > Pages/Communities > select a page/community > Apps.

Apps performance
The main view displays a list of all apps on your page along with their performance metrics. You can filter data by date range or specific user groups to narrow your results.
- Sort & Search: Click any column header to sort by that metric, or use the icon in the Name header to find a specific app.
- Drill Down: Click on any app in the list to open the App Details view for in-depth data.
App details
When you select a specific app, you get a granular look at its performance.
- App Overview: At the top, view the app name, creation date, and last update. You can visit the live app by clicking .
- Traffic Statistics: View charts for Visits, Visitors, and Average Usage Time. Use this to track engagement trends and how long users spend on the content.
Analytics for Documents apps
If you are analyzing a Documents app, you will see two additional sections specific to file interactions:
- Document Engagement Trends: A visual graph showing the total file views and downloads over your selected time period.
- Document Overview: A detailed list of every file in the app. You can see exactly how many times each document was viewed or downloaded.
