Customizing post layouts for digital signage

When you add a Multichannel post to a digital signage screen, you can choose its layout, allowing you to decide how the title, body, and image are presented to make each post visually appealing. Additionally, you can add a QR code for quick user access to the full post. The same layout is used on every digital signage screen showing the post.

You need "Access Studio" and "Create, edit, and delete posts" permissions to customize the digital signage layout for a post. To add a post to a digital signage screen, you additionally need "Add content to digital signage screens" permission.

Available layout options

The following layout options are available. Details, such as text wrapping and the number of lines, may vary for each screen.

Customizing a post's layout for digital signage

You can customize the layout of a multichannel post in the Studio editor when creating or editing it.

  1. On the right-hand side of the editor, select Customize teaser in the Teaser section.
  2. In the pop-up, select the Digital Signage tab.
  3. Choose a layout option on the right. Depending on your selected layout, you can also select an alignment.
  4. Optionally, decide whether to display QR code. If the QR code is displayed, users can scan the code to open the full post to read it. Learn more in Accessing posts from digital signage screens.
  5. Select Save at the top to save your layout.

After this, once the post is added to any digital signage screen, it will be shown in this layout.

Note that videos and more than one teaser image are not supported on digital signage. If more than one image is included in a post, only the first one is displayed in the layout.
