After creating a digital signage screen in the Studio and adding posts, you can stream it on your company's monitors or devices. Each screen has a unique, secure 8-digit alphanumeric PIN used for identification. The PIN is only required once for pairing.
Technical requirements
To set up digital signage, choose a device capable of displaying the screen. Suitable options include:
- A Smart TV.
- A Mini PC, tablet, iPad.
- A desktop computer.
The key requirement is that the device must have a browser app like Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox, and a reliable, continuous internet connection.
To ensure the screen continues to display without interruption, we recommend setting your device to full-screen mode or kiosk mode, disabling sleep mode, and disabling automatic logout.
Display a digital signage screen
- On the device where you want to display the screen, open the browser app.
- In the address bar, enter your digital signage screen URL. The URL is in the format
https://your_haiilo-domain/screens, e.g.,https://example.haiilo.app/screens. You can find the URL in the Studio > Digital Signage when viewing a screen. - Enter the PIN code for the screen you want to display. You can find the PIN code for a screen in the Studio > Digital Signage.
Once the PIN is added and validated, your device will display the screen and its posts, including any new posts added later.
If needed, you can reset the PIN for a screen to disable all active sessions on it. Devices showing that screen will no longer display it, providing a method to maintain security.

Generally, keep both your hardware device and the browser app up to date to ensure the screen runs smoothly. If you run into any issues, you can check these tips:

- Is your internet connection active?
- Is your browser up to date?
- Is the screen still paired? Refresh and re-add the pin.
If the screen freezes:

- Restart the browser app
- Restart the device
