Accessing posts from digital signage screens

If you've enabled QR codes to appear on posts on your digital signage screen, your users can scan the code to view the full post on your intranet. Users must have an active account on your platform and have access to the target location of the post to access the full content.

Once a post is read, the views will be counted and included in the metrics displayed in the analytics

Open a post from a QR code

A post will open as described in these scenarios after the user scans the QR code:

  • The user uses the Haiilo mobile app and is logged in: The full post opens within the Haiilo mobile app as long as the user has access to view the post based on its target audience.
  • The user uses the Haiilo mobile app but is not logged in: The user is taken to the Haiilo mobile app to log in. After a successful login, the user is taken to the home screen of their Haiilo mobile app. They need to scan the QR code again to view the full post.
  • The user doesn't use the Haiilo mobile app but is logged in on the mobile web browser: The full post opens in the mobile web browser as long as the user has access to view the post based on its target audience.
  • The user doesn't use the Haiilo mobile app and is not logged in on the mobile web browser: The user is taken to the mobile web browser to log in. After successful login, the user is taken to the home screen of their Haiilo platform on the web browser. They need to scan the QR code again to view the full post.

If a user doesn't have permission to access the post, they won't be able to see the full post. For example, if the post is aimed at subscribers of a private page, only those subscribers can view the full post. Likewise, if it's targeted at a user group the viewer isn't a part of, they won't be able to see it. On the other hand, if the post is directed to a public page, anyone can access the content.
