The My Profile widget offers a friendly greeting and easy access to the user's profile, saved items, and the colleagues you follow or who follow you. This makes it a great addition to a homepage, as it welcomes users to the platform and highlights entry points to important information at the forefront.

Basics of the widget

The widget can include the elements listed below. The elements you can see depend on your permissions.

• Cover image: Displays your user profile's cover image. If your profile doesn't have a cover image, your system color* is displayed instead.
• Profile image: Displays your user profile's profile image. If your profile lacks a profile image, your system color* and initials are used instead. By selecting the profile image in the widget, you can upload a profile picture.
• Greeting: A daily greeting that updates dynamically, displaying "Happy day_of_week, user_name", e.g., "Happy Monday, Jane".
  • On your birthday, defined by the Birthday field in your user profile, a "Happy Birthday, user_name!" message pops up, along with confetti every time the widget loads, usually when you visit the page it's located on. Plus, you can join in the fun by clicking on your profile image to create even more confetti! 🥳
• Job title: Displays the job title from your user profile's Job title field. If no title is provided, this section will not be shown.
• Followers: Displays the number of users following you. Clicking will open the colleagues' list with the Followers filter applied, allowing you to view your followers.
• Following: Displays the number of users you follow. Clicking will open the colleagues' list with the Following filter applied, allowing you to view the users you follow.
• My Profile: Includes a button that leads to your user profile.
• Bookmarks: Includes a button that leads to your bookmarked content.

* A user's system color is a random color assigned by Haiilo's system to each user account to display as the background color for cover and profile images when no image is present. These cannot be changed.

The widget sets itself up as soon as it's added – no configuration is needed. It's super easy and hassle-free!
