You can pin a specific comment at the top of the comments section to highlight it, ensuring it remains visible to users when they view the post or article. Each pinned comment is labeled with the name of the user or page/community that pinned it.
To pin a comment, you need "Pin comments" permission and to be the original author of the content item, or an admin of the page or community where the content item was created. You don't need to be the author of the comment.
Pin a comment
- Find a comment you want to pin.
- Select > Pin comment.
Your comment has been pinned and moved to the top of the comment section. A message will display above the comment, stating "Pinned by..." to show who highlighted the post.
You can unpin a comment by repeating the above steps and selecting Unpin comment.
When a comment is pinned, all other comments on the content item are hidden by default, but you can view all comments by selecting Show more comments.
