Features

There are some features that overlap between the different tabs in the dashboard:

  • Filtering the data: You can filter the dashboard by date range or various user criteria to refine your data. Learn more in this article:
  • Viewing percentage change: Every widget in the dashboard displays a percentage trend as the development in comparison to the reference time period. The reference period is automatically selected from the same duration just before the configured time period. For example, if you are viewing the past 7 days, the change is compared to the 7 days prior to your selected period.

Permissions

These are the permissions related to analytics:

  • "Access Analytics": Allows users to see the Analytics menu item in the navigation bar and access the Analytics dashboard. With this permission and by being a page or community admin, you can see data for your managed pages and communities.
  • "Analytics Admins Access": Allows users full access to the Analytics. This includes viewing all platform data on users, content, pages, communities, etc.

For easier visualization of analytics access, the table below shows what you can see in the Analytics dashboard depending on your permission:

Data collection and processing

You will sometimes see that data from previous days is being slightly adjusted. Below, we explain why.

When collecting data, some events cannot be transmitted while a user is actively using the application. For example, the time a user spends navigating through Haiilo is recorded until they leave the page. If a user closes the browser tab, data transmission stops and will not resume until they reopen Haiilo in their browser. At that point, any previously collected user activity data will be transmitted.

The time it takes to collect and process all data depends on the type of event and individual user behavior. Sample analysis has shown that approximately 85% of data is collected within the first hour after the event, and around 98% is collected within 24 hours following the event.
