The New Analytics dashboard offers various metrics to enhance your understanding of content performance and employee engagement. This article will explain the key analytics terminology you can find in the dashboard:

Content metrics

Engagement rate

A score indicating the level of interaction on the content. Different interactions are assigned points: Like = 1x, Comment = 2.5x, or Share = 5x. The total is divided by reach and multiplied by 100.

Example:

  • 33 Likes (x1) = 33 points
  • 15 Comments (x2.5) = 37.5 points
  • 4 Shares (x5) = 20 points
  • 166 reach
  • = 90.2 Points / 166 Reach = 54,5% Engagement rate

For page/community content engagement, engagement on shared items is counted only for the item's origin page/community, not for sharing to the target page/community.
