You can easily manage your notification preferences through the user drop-down menu's Notifications option. Additionally, under Notifications, you can also manage your hashtags. Learn more in our Hashtags article. You need the "Manage Notification Settings" and "Access Notifications" permissions to manage your notification settings.
Keep in mind, if you'd like to enable notifications for a specific channel—like email or push notifications—those channels need to be activated by your platform admins before they become available for you to configure. This means you have the flexibility to choose which events trigger notifications, but the channels themselves need to be enabled by your admin to customize these settings.
A note on in-app notifications: You automatically receive notifications within the Haiilo platform for interactions and events based on your actions and subscriptions. You cannot edit or disable these notifications in your notification settings. Learn more in Understanding the Notification bell.
Notification channels
You might be able to enable any of the following notification channels:
- Browser notifications: You can receive notifications as a browser pop-up. You can choose which types of events these notifications are sent for. Additionally, you can enable a Sound when you receive a browser notification. Learn more in Browser notifications.
- Email notifications: You can receive instant email notifications for various events and a summary email of updates and missed content since your last visit at a specified interval. Learn more in System email notifications.
- Push notifications: You can receive push notifications on your mobile device for various events. Learn more in Push notifications.
