This article covers content analytics for the Intranet. For details on Studio's content analytics, see Studio Content Analytics.
The Content page with Intranet metrics focuses on how content is created, viewed, and perceived through engagement responses. Tracking this information is essential to understand your audience's preferences and behaviors, enabling you to tailor your content strategies for maximum impact. You can narrow down the view by choosing a specific date range or applying user filters.
Additionally, by selecting a content item in the list, you can open a Content details view, which includes more in-depth data on the specific content item.
For more information about the definitions of metrics, refer to Metrics Definitions for Haiilo Analytics.
Created content
Created content includes the total number of timeline posts, blog articles, and wiki articles created on your platform.
The line graph shows changes over time, allowing you to hover over specific points to see the breakdown of created content for a given period. You can also focus on a single metric by deselecting the others under the graph.
By dragging and highlighting a section of the graph, you can zoom in to view a snapshot of that specific time period. Select to return to your chosen time frame.
Interaction
You can access data on user interactions, such as comments, reactions, and shares, to better understand your users' level of engagement with your content. Similarly to the above, you can interact with the line graph to narrow your focus.
Content performance
The Content performance table provides detailed analytics for each of your posts and articles, helping you identify your top-performing content.
You can configure the table to specify the included content and whether filters are applied to the metrics. Select Configure table to select:
|
Display content: Choose which content to show in the table:
|
Metrics: Select whether your current filters (date and user) are applied to the table or if all-time data is displayed.
|
For example, to identify which of your published posts from the previous month performed the best, choose: Display content: Published and Metrics: Show filtered data, and set a date filter for the previous month. This will update the table to display content published in the selected month and show metrics for that month only.
You can sort the table by any metric. If you wish to narrow down to a specific content item, you can search by selecting in the Title header. The search considers keywords in the title for blog and wiki articles and the full post body for timeline posts. Moreover, you can filter the Type column to view only content items for a specific content type. When you hover over a post's title, you'll be able to see the full title without any cut-off, making it easier to read.
You can select a content item to open the Content details view, which allows you to explore data for that particular content item further.
Content details
The Content details view provides data for a specific content item. At the top, you can find information for the item, including its title, creation date, publication date, and last update date. Also, you can see its total data regardless of time period, e.g., the total number of views, impressions, and so on, that it's collected over time. You can open the content item itself by selecting .
Overall, this view's data is similar to the overview data, but it focuses on a single content item. In addition, you can find metrics for Impressions and Unique views, enabling you to understand the total views and reach, alongside unique views and reach.
Finally, you can explore the sentiment breakdown of comments and reactions, as well as the reactions to the content item, in corresponding donut charts. You can use filters to refine the results to view the breakdown for a specific company, department, or location.
