User Activity Analytics

The User Activity page focuses on key metrics that help understand how users use and interact with the platform. Tracking these metrics provides valuable insights into user engagement. You can narrow down the view by choosing a specific date range or applying user filters.

For more information about the definitions of metrics, refer to Metrics Definitions for Haiilo Analytics.

Adoption

You can see the total number of licenses, active accounts, and active users (all-time), all broken down into separate widgets. Keep in mind that these totals don't consider any filters.

Active users

You can find data on active unique users, defined as users who used your platform for more than 3 seconds in the filtered time period. A unique user is counted only once in the time period, even if they've been active multiple times or on multiple devices.

Active unique users are further segmented into:

  • Active users: Users who were active on the platform in the time period.
  • Interacting users: Users who interacted with content in the time period.
  • Creating users: Users who created content (blog, wiki, or timeline) in the time period.

The line graph shows changes over time, allowing you to hover over specific points to see the breakdown of viewing, interacting, and creating users for a given period. You can also focus on a single metric by deselecting the others under the graph.

By dragging and highlighting a section of the graph, you can zoom in to view a snapshot of that specific time period. Select undo analytics.png to return to your chosen time frame.

Platform activity

To understand how your users use your platform, you can find information on average session length and visits. These are shortly defined as:

  • Average session length: The average time users spent on the platform in the time period.
  • Visits: The total non-unique number of visits to the platform in the time period.

The line graphs show changes over time, so you can identify spikes or dips in your data for a given period.
