Using AVA Read Out Loud new

If you would like AVA Read Out Loud to be added to your platform so you can enable it, please contact your Haiilo Account Manager.

With AVA Read Out Loud, you can effortlessly listen to blog articles in the mobile app, enhancing content consumption for a more engaging and convenient experience. The feature ensures it feels like a podcast, enabling you to listen anytime, anywhere, even when the app is in the background or the device is locked.

To use AVA Read Out Loud, the feature needs to be enabled for your platform. At the moment, you can only use AVA Read Out Loud if you're using Haiilo AI as your AVA provider. AVA Read Out Loud is provided by Google Text-To-Speech.

Use AVA Read Out Loud

  1. Open a blog article in the mobile app
  2. Select Listen to article at the top
  3. Wait for the audio to load. Once it's done, the audio will automatically start to play.
  4. Listen to AVA reading your article out loud. The audio is generated in the content's language.

You can lock your mobile device screen or browse other apps, and the audio will continue to play. However, you cannot browse other areas of the Haiilo app while listening to the audio. If needed, you can select the Pause option in the app or mobile device to pause the audio.

The audio is generated by AI, which may lead to occasional variations in pronunciation, tone, and pauses between paragraphs. We are committed to continuously improving the quality.

Limitations

  • Content types: Currently, AVA Read Out Loud can only read the text content inside the rich text editor in blog articles.
  • Language: AVA will identify the language of the content and generate audio accordingly. This language detection operates separately from automatic translation, meaning you cannot listen to a translated blog article. You can find a list of all supported languages here. If a language is not supported, the audio will default to English.
  • Voice: AVA's voice is predetermined and cannot be changed.
