You can mute a chat to suppress notifications from that conversation. Once muted, the chat will remain silent until you choose to unmute it.
Even if you've muted a chat, you'll still get notifications when someone directly mentions you, so you won't miss important messages.
Mute a chat
- In the chat list, select a chat or group channel
- Select > Mute in the browser and on Android. On iOS, select > Mute
From now on, you won't receive notifications about new messages in this chat. Muting applies to both the browser and mobile app.
A muted chat is indicated by a icon in the chat list. You can unmute the chat to receive notifications again.
