Once the topic discussed in your thread is resolved, you can close the thread to indicate that it's no longer open for replies. When a thread is closed, only page or community admins and thread creators can post replies. If the topic becomes relevant again in the future, the thread can always be reopened.
Threads can be closed by the thread creator or the page or community admins.
Close a thread
- Optionally, select a thread to open it to review the content
- Select > Close
A closed thread displays a Closed label when viewing it and a icon in the forum thread overview. Once closed, regular users cannot reply to a thread; only the page or community admins and thread creators can.
Reopen a thread
- Optionally, select a closed thread to open it to review the content
- Select > Reopen
The thread is opened and the Closed label is removed. All users can reply to the thread again.
