You can translate the names of your apps into any of your activated languages. This enables your users to view the app names in their preferred language. Additionally, you can also enter your app group names in other languages to maintain consistency.
Furthermore, for Blog, Wiki, and Content apps, you can create content in other languages, allowing your users to view the content in the language they're most comfortable with. For all other apps, you can only provide the app content in one language.
To provide app names and certain apps' content in multiple languages, you first need to acquire and activate the feature and set up languages on the page or community in which the apps are located. Learn more in these articles:
Add translations for an individual app
- Go to your page or community
- Hover over the app you'd like to edit
- Select
- Select another language in the language selector
- When you create an app in a new language for the first time, you are asked if you would like to copy the default language's information over to the new language. This makes it easier to remember the information in the default language for quick translation.
- Define a translation for the app name. All other settings remain the same for the app regardless of the language the user views it in.
- Select Save to save and exit the settings, or repeat the above steps for another language
After adding translations for your app, you can provide the app's content in your selected languages.
Add translations for multiple apps and app groups
You can add translations for several apps and app groups at once for easier maintenance.

- Hover over the app group you'd like to edit
- Select
- In the view that opens, you can edit all your app names and app group names. Use the language selector to switch between your activated languages
- Select Save
