You can delete individual apps if their content needs to be permanently removed from the platform. Once an app is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

You need to be an admin of the page or community and have "Manage apps of a page/community" permission to delete apps.

In general, we recommend deactivating apps instead of deleting them to ensure that the content is retained on the platform. Deactivated apps are only visible to page and community admins. Learn more in Activating and deactivating apps.

Delete an app

1. Go to your page or community
2. Hover over the app you'd like to edit
3. Select   
4. Select Delete this app
5. Check I confirm the deletion. This is to ensure that you don't accidentally delete an article
6. Select Delete app

Once an app is deleted, it immediately becomes inaccessible.
