Reviewing wiki articles

You can schedule review reminders for individual wiki articles, which will be sent to page and community admins and the article's author on the specified day. Review reminders are designed to help you keep your wiki articles accurate and up to date. Additionally, you can include a message to offer further context or instructions along with the reminder.

Set a review reminder for an article

You can set a review reminder when creating or editing an article. A reminder needs to be set individually for every article. Learn more in Creating wiki articles.

If an article with a review reminder is archived or moved back to draft status later, the reminder is automatically removed.

Review an article

When your article comes up for review, the page or community admins and the article's original author receive a notification. Additionally, an article that needs review displays a Needs review label.

  1. Go to your wiki app
  2. Select > Edit on the article that needs review. Alternatively, open the article and select Review article.
  3. Review the article according to the review note and make any necessary changes to the content
  4. Change the Review reminder date to schedule the next article review. Reminders cannot repeat automatically at set intervals but have to be set again after the first reminder is completed.
  5. Check Notify subscribers about this update if you want users to receive a notification about the article being updated
  6. Select Publish to save the updated article

After saving an article that requires review and changing the review reminder date, the Needs review label is removed, regardless of whether any changes were made to the article's content.
