You can delete individual blog articles if their content needs to be permanently removed from the platform. Deleted articles can't be found on the platform, and no analytics are retained. Once an article is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

You need to be an admin of the page or community to delete blog articles.

Before you delete an article, make sure to update any references to that article. This will help prevent broken links from occurring on your platform where the article is linked.

In general, we recommend archiving articles instead of deleting them to ensure that the content is retained on the platform and that the analytics gathered from them are preserved. Learn more in Archiving blog articles.

Delete a blog article

1. Go to your blog app
2. Select  > Delete on the article you wish to remove
3. Check I confirm the deletion. This is to ensure that you do not accidentally delete an article
4. Select Delete article

Once an article is deleted, it immediately becomes inaccessible.
