The M365 Documents app enables you to effortlessly showcase files from any SharePoint Online document site or folder on the platform. It avoids creating duplicates and instead provides links to the SharePoint sites and files. Users can conveniently browse through the displayed files and open access them on SharePoint in a new tab. It ensures a seamless transition between your intranet and Microsoft.

The app is only available if the Microsoft integration is activated and users are logged in with Microsoft authentication.

Set up the app

Once you've added a M365 Documents app to your page or community, you can configure it. Also, read Apps overview for general information on apps.

• Name: Give your app a meaningful name that best reflects its topic and use case.
• Activate this app: Activate it immediately or leave it in the deactivated mode. A deactivated app is only visible to admins of a page or community. The app is in draft mode.
• URL: By default, the URL is generated from the app's name, but you can change it to something else. Any old links leading to the app won't work anymore after you change it.
• SharePoint Online document library: Select a SharePoint site or folder that contains the file structure you want to display in the app. You can only select one site or folder per app for display.
