M365 file widget

The M365 file widget allows you to showcase a SharePoint Online file directly on the platform. This allows you to guide users to files on SharePoint and facilitates easier and quicker collaboration between your intranet and Microsoft.

The widget only displays if the Microsoft integration is activated and users are logged in with Microsoft authentication.

Set up the widget

The following options are available when configuring the widget:

  • Select file: Select a file from your SharePoint Online library. You can only see the files that you have permission to view.
  • Display name: Define a name for your file. The file name is automatically imported from SharePoint, but you can change it to display a different name.
  • Display as: Choose how the widget displays the file. Each option includes the file title, file type, and an Open in M365 button for easy access to the file. You can see an example of each type in the screenshots below.
    • Preview: Displays the first page of your file.
    • Full view: Displays the entire file and allows users to navigate through it.
    • Minimum view: Displays the file title and type only.
  • Height (for Full view): Optionally, define a height in pixels for your file to determine its size. By default, the file is displayed in a 1:1 ratio. The file width depends on your selected widget column width.
