The Upcoming birthdays widget displays a list of your colleagues' upcoming birthdays, allowing you to stay informed about important dates and plan for celebrations. 

If you change your birthday in your profile, the widget takes about 15 minutes to update. Users whose birthday is on February 29th are shown on this day every year, even if it's not a leap year.

Set up the widget

The following options are available when configuring the widget:

• Days in advance: Enter the number of days before the birthday that the entry should be displayed in the widget. If there are no birthdays in the upcoming days, the widget will display the message "No upcoming birthdays". 
• Number of displayed birthdays: Enter the number of users to display in the widget. If more users have upcoming birthdays than the number you've selected to display, a See more option will appear.
• Display: Choose whether to display all users on the platform or only the ones the user viewing the widget follows. Selecting Followers only enables you to create a more personalized widget, as users will only see upcoming birthdays for people they follow and, hence, most likely know.
• Display a colleague's age: Check if you want to display the user's age. If you choose to show ages, users can prevent their age from being displayed by omitting the year from their birthday in their user profile.
