Does your company have more than one location? If so, consider creating a page for each location as a central hub for essential information about each physical space, streamlining navigation and improving workplace productivity.
Aim of the page
Before creating the page, consider its objectives:
- Informing employees about important news, updates, and events for a specific location.
- Providing information for location-related policies and requests.
- Having an overview of all location-related events and benefits.

We suggest using the following apps:
Example
This is what a page for a location could look like. The apps used and their purpose are explained below. For a better overview, it's always recommended to use app groups and structure the community's content according to different use cases.
The following apps were used in the example above.
- Timeline app: Using the timeline app, users will find news concerning everyone working at the London office. General updates, as well as news shared by the employees, can be found on this timeline.
- Content app: We used the content app to display information about the team and the physical workspace, for example, floor plans and parking spaces.
- List app: With the help of the list app, we are providing all of the regional town hall meeting recordings in one place.
- Events app: Exciting events concerning the employees in London are shared with the help of the event app.
- Form app: The form app processes catering requests, allowing employees to quickly submit inquiries.
Further tips & tricks
- Use widgets to further design your page. Inform your employees about upcoming events, the latest blog articles, or communities you want to recommend to your employees. Add a teaser widget to highlight current news.
- Consider adding more apps like a wiki app, e.g., for guidelines or employee benefits. You can also add a blog app, for example, to list all the beverages (coffee, soft drinks, etc.) and where to find them.
- If you also use the Multichannel Communications module, you can add the Multichannel Comms app to showcase posts created in the Studio as they otherwise would not appear in the Timeline App.
