Setting up communication channels

You set up the communication channels that your post creators can enable for content distribution in the Studio. These settings can be found in Administration > Multichannel > Communication channels. You need "Multichannel administration" permission to access the settings.

Timeline

Published posts appear on the timeline of the targeted audience. Additionally, you can decide whether to allow post creators to decide whether commenting or reacting is turned on or off for their posts. If these are turned off, posts won't show the commenting or reacting options at all.

The post is only visible in the newsfeed timeline of each targeted user and not on any page or community timeline, or a user's personal timeline.

Email

Published posts are emailed to the targeted audience. You can view the post's teaser title, image, and text in the email and can select to open the full post on the timeline.

You can use the default sender name and email or set up a custom email address and sender name of your choice.
