Advocacy: Import content from Facebook or Twitter

Import content from Facebook

As an Admin, when you connect a Facebook page to Haiilo, you also have to connect your personal Facebook account to your Haiilo account as well from your profile settings. For instructions on how to connect your Facebook profile to your Haiilo account, see here.

To connect a Facebook page to Haiilo, navigate to the Importing Content tab under the Settings tab in the menu bar. Under the heading Facebook, click Add new source.

This will open the box in Haiilo where you can input the Facebook source and select the channel(s) where the content should be posted and if you want the content to be published automatically. Hit Save after choosing your channels and your feed is connected. Content will start importing within 30 minutes.

Haiilo will only import the links embedded in your social media posts, rather than the posts themselves.

To connect a Facebook page to Haiilo, you do not have to have admin access to manage the Facebook page itself. This means that any Company Admin in Haiilo can connect the page. However the Admin who connects the page to Haiilo will have to have their own Facebook account connected to Haiilo in their personal settings in order for the connection to work. The Admin's personal Facebook account also needs to stay connected to Haiilo in order for the Facebook page to continue importing content.

Import content from Twitter

To connect a Twitter feed to Haiilo, navigate to the Importing Content tab under the Settings tab in the menu bar. Under the heading Twitter, click Add new source.

This will open the box in Haiilo where you can input the Twitter source and select the channel(s) where the content should be posted and if you want the content to be published automatically. Hit Save after choosing your channels and your feed is connected. Content will start importing within 30 minutes.
