Advocacy: Create a Video post

You can create a Video post on Haiilo using a video from your computer or from your mobile phone while using the Haiilo Share mobile app.

The Video-feature is only visible if enabled for your company Haiilo domain.

  • Internal video requirements:

    • Supported video formats are mp4 and native iOS and Android videos
    • Size of the video should be less than 500MB or 0.5GB
    • Viewing up to 1280 x 720 p, 24 FPS (3000Kbps)

    Step 1: Choose your audience

    The first step in creating a Video post is choosing your audience. For an internal post, choose 'For Internal Reading Only'.

    Step 2: Add your video

    The Video layout in Haiilo lets you upload one video of max. 500MB. The image thumbnail for your post will be automatically selected from the video itself, but you can upload another image in its place. The image will be displayed in a 16:9 ratio. You have to give your Video post a title as well.

    Step 3: Configure

    In this step, you select the channels where you want your post to appear. You can add multiple channels when creating the post. You can also set a post language (if the language feature has been enabled for your company Haiilo domain).

    An admin can configure a post's settings further.

    Step 4: Confirm

    In the provided field, you can write additional comments about the post. The comments will appear above the post when it is published. In this step, you can also see a preview of what your post will look like when published.

    Admins can select to publish immediately or schedule a post for later publication.

    Once you are happy with your post, please select Done to submit the post to be approved. After the admins approve your post, it will appear on the Haiilo feed.

    Haiilo needs to transcode your video before it can be published, so it might take a few minutes for the post to appear on your feed.

    Note that if you choose to share a video to all networks or a combination of networks, our system will have to enforce the strictest network's requirements on the video post to ensure it is shareable to all selected networks.

    This enables your post to be shareable on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, or Instagram. You can select one or multiple social networks.
