Below we detail step-by-step how to create a regular image post and a GIF image post.

Upload image(s)

To create a regular Image post, click on the 'Image' button at the top of your Haiilo feed.

Step 1: Select audience

First, you have to select whether you are creating an external or internal post. The number of images you can upload depends on the social networks you'd like the post to be shareable to, as each network has its own image requirements:

  • LinkedIn: maximum of 9 images
  • Twitter: maximum of 4 images
  • Facebook: maximum of 10 images
  • Instagram: maximum of 10 images
  • Internal post (Haiilo only): 10 images

If you choose to share images to all networks or a combination of networks, our system will have to enforce the strictest network's requirements on the image post to ensure it is shareable to all selected networks.

Step 2: Add your image(s)

After selecting your audience, upload the image(s) from your computer or phone. The supported image formats for images are jpg, jpeg, png as well as native iOS and Android images.

There are no specific size or image ratio requirements when uploading images to Haiilo, but large image files will be compressed which might affect the image quality. All images have to be uploaded at the same time.

You also have to give your Image post a title on this step to let other users know the story behind your images.

Step 3: Configure

On this step, you will be able to select the channels where you want your proposed post to appear. You can propose a post to multiple channels when creating the post. You can also set a post language (if the language feature has been enabled for your company Haiilo domain).
