You can create an Image post on Haiilo by uploading one or multiple static images or one GIF image. Below we detail step-by-step how to create a regular image post and a GIF image post.
Upload image(s)
Step 1: Select the audience
First, select whether you are creating an external or internal post. For external posts, Haiilo allows you to upload a set number of image alternatives for each network:
- LinkedIn: you can upload a maximum of 9 images to Haiilo. When a user shares, they can select up to 5 of them to share on LinkedIn at once.
- Twitter: you can upload a maximum of 4 images to Haiilo. When a user shares, they can select up to 4 of them to share on Twitter at once.
- Facebook: you can upload a maximum of 10 images to Haiilo. When a user shares, they can select up to 6 of them to share on Facebook at once.
- Instagram: you can upload a maximum of 10 images to Haiilo. When a user shares, they can select 1 of them to share on Instagram at once.
- Internal post (Haiilo only): 10 images
If you choose to share images to all networks or a combination of networks, our system will have to enforce the strictest network's requirements on the image post to ensure it is shareable to all selected networks.
Step 2: Add your image(s)
After selecting your audience, upload the image(s) from your computer or phone. The supported image formats for images are jpg, jpeg, png as well as native iOS and Android images.
There are no specific size or image ratio requirements when uploading images to Haiilo, but large image files will be compressed, which might affect the image quality.
You also have to give your Image post a title.
Step 3: Configure
In this step, you select the channels where you want your post to appear. You can add multiple channels when creating the post. You can also set a post language (if the language feature has been enabled for your company Haiilo domain). If the post is for external sharing, you can also write your recommended sharing messages for each network.
An admin can configure a post's settings further.
Step 4: Confirm
In the provided field, you can write additional comments about the post. The comments will appear above the post when it is published. In this step, you can also see a preview of what your post will look like when published.
Once you are happy with your post, please select Done to submit the post to be approved. After the admins approve your post, it will appear on the Haiilo feed.
