The Multichannel posts widget showcases multichannel posts sent to specified audiences, enabling you to display relevant news on homepages, pages, communities, or within apps.
You can choose one or more targeted sources, and the widget will display the latest posts from those sources. Additionally, it can be configured to display only those posts marked as Featured in the Studio.
Set up the widget
The following options are available when configuring the widget:
- Post targeted to: Specify whether you want to display posts targeted to:
- Everyone: Only posts targeted to Everyone will show in the widget.
- The Current user: All posts that the user viewing the widget is permitted to see, meaning the posts relevant to each individual user.
- Page(s): Only posts targeted to the selected page(s). If you choose this option, select the relevant pages.
- Community(s): Only posts targeted to the selected community(s). If you choose this option, select the relevant communities.
- Only Featured posts: Check if you only want posts selected to appear in the Featured posts channel to show up in the widget.
- Number of posts: Input the number of posts displayed at once. Once the defined number of posts is reached, new posts replace the oldest posts in the widget.
- Show teaser image: Check the box if you want the widget to display a post's teaser image. Note that videos won't play in the widget.
- Show teaser text: Check the box if you want the widget to display a post's teaser text.
- Display as: Choose how the widget displays the articles: List, Cards, or Slider.
