The mobile hero teaser makes it simple to highlight important topics right at the top of your mobile app Dashboard. It looks similar to the browser version but is designed to be more readable on your mobile device. The headline can have a maximum of two lines before being shortened with an ellipsis, and to keep things clean, the subline isn't shown on mobile, allowing more room for the headline.

You can activate the hero teaser section for the dashboard in the Administration. You need to have the "Manage features" permission to add a mobile hero teaser to the dashboard and the "Manage hero teasers" permission to create and manage hero teasers for your platform.

The Hero Teaser section is fixed at the top of the Dashboard. If you prefer not to use this section, you can still turn it off. Learn more in Managing sections for the mobile Dashboard.

Add a hero teaser to the Dashboard

1. Go to Administration > Mobile > Mobile Dashboard.
2. Check the box for Hero Teaser to activate the section.
3. Select Add teaser.
4. Select a hero teaser from the list of available teasers. Your teasers are the same for the mobile app as for the browser version. They will scale to fit on mobile.
5. Select Save changes.

You can change your hero teaser at any time by selecting Choose another. Additionally, you can remove it by resetting it or deactivating the section.
